Pink Vintage Elements

One of our 4x6 background rubber stamps called, Vintage Elements is a recent release that features a neat valentine/greek/roman/cupid feel with just the right amount of splatters and text.
We have created some cards with it stamped in a red and pink ink. The stamp makes for a pretty theme on a card, whether it's for Valentines Day or any other occasion. Also, what's great about it is that is can be for men, women or kids.
Vintage Elements stamped in red Stazon ink onto white card stock.
I burnished the edges with Ranger's Mini Ink Blending Tool and a pink ink, Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo.
To make the raised feature heart, I inked just a portion of the background with ink.
I then placed my die cut heart piece face down onto the ink.
Using tweezers help keep my fingers out of the ink. I also used the tweezers to press the paper onto the rubber during inking.
I used foam circles to attach the heart die cut to the card. I also colored in the cherub to create a fun focal point.
Pearls and a pink valentine card go together so well. I purchased the pearl dots on Amazon.
Hint: if you have trouble removing jewels or pearls with their adhesive dot, use tweezers and slide the pearl sideways on the clear sheet. This removes the frustration of losing the adhesive dot and holding a pearl without a way to attach it to a card.
Although to can't see the pearls very in in the photos, I placed them all around the heart die cut/cherub focal and it came out looking very pretty!
